We begin having church services at Zion this coming weekend. Even though this is the 5th Sunday of May, we will be having walking communion for both services. A special Voter’s meeting to call our next Pastor will be held on June 7 after church in the school gym to provide for proper distancing.

Synod has opened up the call process, it is expected that we will have a meeting following our first week back to church. The Call Committee met by Zoom and reviewed the presentation that Pastor Erv prepared for the town hall meeting. Also with the help of Zion volunteers the food pantry will be able to be back up and running!

This week is teacher appreciation week. Our teachers have been doing very well to continue to teach the students with Bible studies and with academic content. We have been remotely instructing students since all Michigan schools were closed in mid-March.
